Kindness Day at the Airdrie Public Library
At Airdrie Kiwanis, we don’t just serve children — we help shape the leaders of tomorrow.
Key Club is a student-led service and leadership program for high school students in Airdrie, Alberta. Members gain confidence, develop leadership skills, and explore career-building opportunities while making a real difference through community service projects like park clean-ups, food drives, and clothing collections. Funding supports the launch of Key Club in Airdrie by providing marketing materials and supplies needed to ensure the program’s success.
Key Club Members Can:
Lead with kindness and integrity
Earn volunteer hours while supporting the community
Build lasting friendships through service
Connect with a global network dedicated to helping others
At Airdrie Kiwanis, we believe every step—and every wag—can lead to a brighter future for our local youth.
Bark in the Park is a vibrant community celebration at Nose Creek Park where paws prance and laughter echoes. While our "Dog Olympics" feature high-energy challenges, you don’t need a four-legged friend to join the fun! This event is the perfect reason to get out of the house, browse our local artisan market, and grab lunch from a variety of gourmet food trucks. Every dollar raised supports Kiwanis initiatives in Airdrie, meaning your afternoon in the sun helps children in our community thrive.

Stepping Forward Together
Each year, Kiwanis Airdrie proudly supports families in our community by helping provide shoes for children in need. Through our partnership with Community Links, Kiwanis donates funds that are distributed as gift cards, allowing families to choose the right fit and style for their children. It’s our way of ensuring kids step into school, play, and everyday life with comfort and confidence.
“Kiwanis Airdrie helped my kids start the school year with confidence!” — Airdrie parent
As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, we also run projects like Books for Babies, where every newborn in Airdrie receives a basket from local nurses that includes a board book, encouraging early literacy from day one.
Current Projects Include:
Laces for Learning: $25 Walmart gift cards so children in need can purchase gym shoes for school.
Books for Babies: Supporting early literacy for every newborn in Airdrie.
